The Willy T

If you are looking for a great meal and good time while you are on Norman Island, stop in to The Willy T. You won’t have a hard time finding this restaurant considering the fact that it floats – that’s right, you can find The Willy T floating near the Bight of Norman Island. This restaurant serves up fresh seafood, lots of island favorites, and a fun atmosphere all rolled into one.

The Willy T was named from William Thornton who was a planter, and architect. Not only is The Willy T named after this great man, but the United States Capital Building was also designed by William Thornton. The restaurant itself used to be a Baltic Sea vessel until Mick and Annie Gardner bought and opened the restaurant in 1989. You will find lots of comfortable seating inside of this restaurant, a fantastic ocean view, and a bridge deck that features a bar (don’t forget to ask the bartender for your Willy T tattoo!).

Food wise, The Willy T offers some tempting appetizers including Anegada Conch Fritters, BBQ Chicken Wings, and Jalapeno Poppers. Main courses include Jumbo Prawns, BBQ Baby Back Ribs, Chicken Roti, Yellowfin Tuna Steak, British Fish & Chips, and many more island favorites. Desserts at The Willy T only come one way: in the form of key lime pie, so save space for this scrumptious dish! Whatever you do, don’t miss out on the fun that is the floating Willy T restaurant.
